Two public pools to open June 13

On June 20 and 21, the Arthur-Therrien pool and the Place de la Fontaine pool will open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. They will however be closed on the 22nd and 23rd of June. And then starting June 24, all pools will open from 11:00 to 8:00 pm all through the end of summer.

Residents must note that these hours for June were fixed to ensure the safety of swimmers taking into account the required number of pool monitors.

There are two pools – one in L'Île-des-Sœurs and two in the other districts of Verdun. In L'Île-des-Sœurs, residents have the Elgar pool located at 260 Elgar Street, and the Place de la Fontaine pool located at 550, Place de la Fontaine. The two other pools in Verdun are the Natatorium, at 6500 La Salle Boulevard and the Arthur-Therrien pool at 10 Hickson Street.
