Parenting Workshops in June

This year's workshops will offer research-based insights as well as practical strategies that parents can implement on a day-to-day basis. Both workshops will be presented in English at Elgar Centre, 260 Elgar Street.

Vikki Stark will present a workshop on "How to Talk to Kids" on June 3rd at 7 p.m. The workshop will focus on communication strategies that make parenting more effective and fun.

Moreover, Gus Appignanesi, father of two teenage boys, will present a workshop titled "Parenting Teens: Mission Impossible?" on June 10th at 7:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on helping parents prepare for and deal with the turmoil of the teenage years, and learn how to let teens make their own choices.
