Noisy work
In line with its road infrastructure projects, the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated will install pilings along the edge of highway 15 north this Saturday, April 25. Work will be carried out between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm; the pilings will be driven into the ground with the help of crane-suspended weights. There’s a chance that the noise and vibration will affect residents in certain buildings located on the south of highway 15 north (residents of the SAX buildings, for example, may hear the noise). As the project plan indicates, the work will be done along the edge of the highway near the present access ramp leading to highway 15 north. During this period, this highway’s traffic lanes will be temporarily limited for about 310 metres.
