EIGHTEENTH WATERFRONT CLEAN-UP
The time has come to make another worthy effort for the environment. Comité d’embellissement Verdun and the Verdun Borough are inviting you to be among the volunteers at the annual waterfront, bike paths and green space clean-up, taking place this year on Saturday, May 2. On mainland, participants are gathering at 8: 30 at the Muncipal Greenhouses (7000, Boul. LaSalle). On the island, the meeting point is at 9: 30 a.m. at Centre communautaire Elgar (260, rue Elgar).
Rain or shine, join the enthusiastic residents and Verdun organizations in this team effort to beautify our waterfront, green space and bike paths. Once the activity is completed, a lunch will be served. There will also be a prize draw. The first 500 volunteers to show up Saturday morning on May 2 will receive a free t-shirt. The activity ends at approximately 1 p.m.
Mayor Claude Trudel, members of the Verdun Borough Council and Verdun MNA Henri-François Gautrin are inviting you to make a concrete contribution to the environment. Join our team of volunteers for the waterfront clean-up, celebrating its 18th edition.
