Survey results: Thierry St-Cyr leading by five points

When he launched his campaign, the Bloc candidate described the Conservative Party as the most serious threat in the electoral district. He spoke of “ferocious adversaries.” But it seems that it is now the Liberal Party breathing down his neck.

The poll was carried out from the 25th to the 27th of September where 500 people were polled. Of that number, 33% said they would vote for Thierry St-Cyr. This was the percentage arrived at after taking into account a portion of undecided voters. Christian P. Feuillette comes next at 28% voter support.

Conservative Party candidate Daniel Beaudin is fourth with 13%. He was taken over by NDP candidate Daniel Breton who is garnering 18% of the votes as revealed by the same survey. Green Party candidate Véronyk Sansoucy is currently at 7%.

During the 2006 election, Bloc candidate Thierry St-Cyr received 40.2% of the votes. Liberal Party candidate Liza Frulla received 34.1% of the votes, while the Conservative Party finished in third place (11.8 %), followed by the NDP (9.2%) and the Green Party (4.7%).
